Thank you for joining us for the 62nd Annual Scientific Meeting of the British Society for Haematology, the UK’s largest annual haematology event.
The first face to face meeting since 2019, the BSH welcomes those joining us in Manchester and those who are joining us virtually online from all over the world. We are excited to be sharing with you all the exciting Programme that has been developed by the Prorgramme Committee and session leads.
We believe that this year’s programme offers something for everyone, with new topics, the renowned named lectures and joint session with our colleagues from the American Society of Hematology and the European Hematology Association.
We advise both in person and online attendees to start planning your own personal experience by adding sessions to your personal schedule. We have a great range on offer. What sessions will you be attending?
We advise delegates to download the BSH 2022 app. This handy tool at the tips of your fingers will help you navigate around the venue, have your schedule on hand and check out the FAQ at any time.
Meet the Expert Sessions
We are pleased to bring back the Meet the Expert sessions to Manchester. Only available for in person attendees, the Meet the Expert Sessions are an opportunity for you to engage with leading figures in the field of haematology in a less formal setting, the 45-minute sessions will be an opportunity for you to ask questions and participate in discussion. Limited to a maximum number of 30 attendees each, do not miss this great opportunity to engage with our faculty. In person attendees can secure their place at one of the 15 sessions within the platform or app. Simply book by adding these to your schedule, this will confirm your place at the session. If you are subsequently unable to attend the session, please do remove it from your schedule in order to free up the space for other attendees.
We welcome back our industry partners and charity representatives. We have a packed exhibition hall at Manchester Central and plenty of time to network during coffee and lunch breaks. Joining us virtually? Do not worry, a selection of exhibitors can be found in the online exhibition within the platform. You can still engage, interact and connect with sponsors. We are extremely grateful to our partners whom we have worked with on an excellent and varied symposium programme.
Evaluating the burden of liaison work on haematologists
We want to better understand the impact liaison work has on haematologists. By answering this short questionnaire Evaluating the burden of liaison work on haematologists, you’ll help BSH make the case for addressing some of the concerns around workforce issues. Our analysis of this survey will provide a timely update to our Haematology Workforce Report published shortly before the global pandemic. If you are a haematology consultant, associate specialist or trainee we would appreciate you taking five minutes during conference to complete the survey.
